BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN REFLECTS COEXISTENCE AMONG COMMUNITIES TOWARDS BUILDING A PLURAL SOCIETY. |
FCE, Colombo South CEC, organised a blood donation campaign on the 9th of June 2009 at Sri Dharmashramaya Temple, Borella, with the participation of all ethnic groups resembling ethnic harmony towards building a united Sri Lanka. WATER ISSUE IN RESETTLED AREAS |

Intervention on addressing the issues faced by the newly resettled people in the areas of Upparu- Kinniya was held on 26/08/2009. The Muslim foundation for cultural development constructed 100 houses for tsunami victims in this area. The crux of the question is, displaced people were reluctant to be resettled there since there is an issue which has arisen among the displaced families on water which is not highly consumable.
